About

Ever break from a work coma and wonder where all the fun went?  Working until 12am seemed like a rite of passage earlier on in my career, but after several promotions, changes in locations, responsibilities and favorite lunch locations, it dawned on me that work-life balance had simply skipped right over me.

I am a workaholic of nearly 10 years who is determined to reclaim balance and rediscover my passion for cooking/entertaining and exercise.  Each week, my goal is to carve out time for new experiences in fitness, grilling, baking, roasting, or simmering in hopes of reclaiming the coveted me-time and perhaps even see reductions in stress levels and gray hair.  This blog is meant to document the highs and lows of the journey, obtain advice from others, and hold me accountable to finding balance.

I am originally from a small close-knit town in New England and went to school outside of Boston, where I continue to live and toil as a finance manager.  Before I let work consume most of my free time, I was an avid golfer, runner, cook and better friend
